Yoga for Every Season: Yoga from an Ayurvedic Perspective

We will begin with a brief introduction to Ayurveda, one of the world’s oldest systems of medicine. This workshop will focus on gearing the physical practice of yoga as well as breath-work, intention and meditation towards balancing your own individual practice or a teacher’s class during different seasons.We will breakdown the qualities of each season and discuss which qualities to incorporate into a practice to find balance. We will also touch on how your individual Prakruti or unique combination of the doshas might affect or alter these practices.
